Well I thought I was going to go to south India exclusively but, here I am In Agra. the Taj Mahal was A delight. I was sad and Calm and Amazed the environment is a host for so many world travelers.. many peoples and many culture rise to the occasion for a majestic viewing what a place.. I am glad SO GLAD I made it up here.. I am suppose to be 3000 kl south of here meeting up for the weeding party but >. WELL Plans change in INDIA... oh boy do they. I will be heading to Delhi tomorrow, and the Rajstan. But Dack to Cochi for the wedding in a flash.. Heres my advise: When you think your reality is as good as it gets.. try taking a different seat on the train or the bus and a whole new wolrds pops into view.. WOW. What a whirl wind.. I have been so busy these last few days. rented a bicycle and road till my ass couldn't take it anymore.. the bikes here are very heavy and the bravery that is required is huge .. the streets are hectic and the driving is quick.. but I road for 20 miles or so, riding across many bridges and seeing a few islands.. My day begun with the events of a nice leasurly walk around the main boardwalk called Calvethy road or beach road. I saw and smelled all types of rubish but I always like to hear the waves and see the water.. this is the first time that I have seen the bay that leads to the Indian ocean..Huge cargo ships come swiftly while old chinese fishing boats move infront of the modern tanksers. the movemment of the water is quick and there were dogs and birds fighting for a bite to eat. I ambled forward and then was bored with the walk so I proceeded to the main market area, only to be invited to buy everything and anything. "fresh fish to cook for you madam" "come remember me, please come to my area i am a simple vender, spend your rupees here.." Vacation would not be the same if it werent for the people making a living of the tourist. Please look at this wonderful ancient performance art called KATHAKALI, I was truely inspired and left with peace and harmony soaring aroun...

Flying into Cochin last night from Bangalore was tiresome. the flight approximately one hour but the waiting and then the delays well that's how travel goes. I am exploring this new city today. I have already gotten up and out of my place and now I am walking the streets and seeking what ever comes my way that interests me. nothing really to report but take a look at this city. thanks m

As I discover new places to try, Let me be the first to recommend a great tea place. "Infinitea" On Cunningham road, next to my favorite Cyber palace and Travel agency. I must be in the business and Non tourist section because, well I can tell by the environment that I have been walking. All students and business class people milling on there way. flower shops and one way streets rather than the melee of oncoming and sideways going auto rickshaws.. they are fun . My Favorite mode of transportation. the wind ripping through my hair feels great. later cats. thanks m

The sounds wake me again. I decide to plan my day around getting a airline ticket and money exchanges and looking to head south. Kerala is the next stop at 7 pm tonight one hour by plane or 17 train then more hours by bus. I am feeling good, havent had the balls to try any food yet.. Maybe later.. I am being rushed here at the cute internet cafe.. all me.. what did I expect, I am typing faster than I want to right now. its hot and muggy and I am heading to a tea place called infintea, should be alright. till next time. Hi ~ After taking upwards of three travel days I made it to INDIA. I arrived 07-DEC-06 WOW. grabbed a motorrickshaw and went to the first place that I wanted to stay.. Shi! NO ROOMS, then I found a great Place that I recommend for anyone coming to Bangalore and wants to be next to the City Bus and Train station.. this place was great for a person in dire need of sleep. OK rooms. fans, TVs, and well the basics but I think pretty secure and available was the bottom line. Next I checking in in the dark, at 335 am then couldn't sleep so got up at 730 and started my day.. but this was a mistake because the keep at the hotel thought that I was vacating and so .. carring the rolling bag on the very bumpy streets not a recommendation. Beautiful Parrots and very cool birds fly overhead. dogs cows and the such litter the roads. the horns and the honks and the beep beeps are very comforting in a bustling kind of way. I do enjoy the noice and the pulse of the city. thank god I have ear plugs.....

Good Evening Mates. this is the final hour. My last post until I find a computer in Germany or Bangalore. I have had a wonderful time in NY and expect my flights to be smooth and quick. The chill in the air is way to crispy on the bones. I am as my dad puts is "getting soft" because I left the farm, well he might be right because this cold is painful and I am glad I am outta here. I sat in a heated outdoor pool overlooking the rolling hills in NJ this afternoon. What a relaxing stress free afternoon. The Spa formerly called Crystal Springs has been renovated and is lovely. The temperature outside was bitter cold with ripping wind which made for nice steam pillows that floated off the warm body at the outdoor pool. After sitting in the Sauna for 45 minutes with (2) ice plunges to chill out I was beat red and ready for some food... Having spent a great day at the spa just chilling the gang and I headed for Greenwood Lake, NY where we had dinner and met up with Pete2e, thanks Pete2e that was yummy. As the days slip by and the moments flutter, I am imaging the future good times I will be having. So ready i am, So very ready. I am typing this while two cute little rambunctious turtles are swimming in a tank trying to get me to feed them.. They are very active and fun to watch. Maybe I will get a turtle when I come home. be well and stay warm father winter is ablowing...

Hi~ just had a wonderful facial, relaxing and calming. The pampering is temporary but the indulgent nature is with me always.. soon come a difference in that aspect. My girlie UP hooked me up with this nice treat.. Thanks UP....! The weather is Crisp and Cool Like I remember but last Night the stormy lightning and rain were a bit different. Hi people of the world, lets all get together for a travel fest. you know the kind where we all hold hands and sing out loud and laugh at each other.. HAHA i know how cheesy can i get here.. Well I just ate a fine meal at Bourbon Street, In Monroe, NY and it was good. Cajun Catfish po boy with yummy fries and a good salad. Nice work. yeah for passport Services and Fed ex too. I am really going the strategy and tickets are ready with the passports and the visas, how great. Going to visit the packing goddess tonight, you know the goddess that lets everything fit nice and neat into the smallest bag possible and never lets anything explode while traveling. I made it to New York in record time, Less than five hours in the air good job Continental Airlines. Thanks for the pick up Pete2e. You rock, cant wait to meet up with my People U.P. and JP How cool. I made the arrival on the first leg of the journey and I am on a new vibe, a quick turn vibe that is very different from the west coast mellowness.. but its natural and fun for me. looking forward to more of this 70 degree weather. but that probably wont stick around. Regrouping is always helpful when time requires change. Well, I am at it and ready. The change is happening and the calm awaits the dawn and the flight. I am ready, and happy. A plan is to emanate the happiness that flows through me to many people among many places on the Earth. I will travel lightly and find peace and beauty in my journey. The future looks Brite and exciting, NYC will be fun like usual and the visit with my east coast people will be good. but this trip begins on my exit plane out of the USA. Tonight is My last night in Portland Oregon and what a great city it is and is continuing to be, The only Goal I have for the city is to clean up the Willamette River While I am gone. If this were to happen PDX would get huge Kudos for Environmental wisdom and preservation. Not just for the great marine, biotic, and riparian communities but the Humans too.... This is the remaining week for me in Oregon. How lovely my time has been. the scenic beauty and the mellow vibe, the ivory tower for environmental understanding, if there is such a thing. the people that make this place special are the social interactors and the more recluse spirited types, you know the complementary couple. the outgoing people person and the articulate quiet person. I am so glad to have an array of people in my life. So many indeed, that I feel like I practically know everyone, well at least I am open to receive it.. thanks Oregon thanks Oregonians and the oh so many transplants. Good Morning~ today I am Leaving California, I have minimized my personal effects to fit into a couple suit cases, seems odd that only last week I had enough to fill a house or two. I decided to go for it. To sell all my personal belongings and the material stuff that maintains a sense of gravity, you know the stuff that owns you rather than the other way-round. Well I sure did It. I realize how well of an acquirer I am, Living in a the west makes one see how easy it can be to collect and store all types of things that, yes indeed can serve us but, basically they keep us put, they maintain a level of comfort and people rarely seek other forms of comfort because that type of change is most often refuted. Why change a good thing people often say.? well why not..?! So, The snow may start to fall and the roads may be icy but I will perservere and rove onward so, in the same fashion that keeps so many people moving ahead or atleast moving. Bon vovage California. There is no time like the Present..
