Hi lovely people of the world .. this is mostly for my people.. in my BIG FAMILY >> i am loving a mild weather change.. although I might be the only on e here.. people on holiday want hot sunny weather.. me.. I take it any way it happens.. and today is windy and mild rain .. very nice change.. reminds me of home.. crisp cool ahhh.,. good old USA, OREGON, The Pacific Northwest.. The Flipping BEST place. I decided to paint and relax and start to Read the Borne Ultimatum, so far I am hooked.. also I might go shopping and buy practical clothes like blue jeans which i haven't worn in a very long time.. also some boardies.. i love them.. they are too-the-knee- surf shorts.. I look great in them.. My job is going very very well.. mostly so is my life.. I have had to reflect and reminisce. I really MISS Thai culture. society and feeling ... I will go back and well... visit again ... truly .. all the best and great wishes of contentment. Love Melisa

I am working everyday still enjoying the cafe/... I have the best location in town as well as the best people to serve. My sweet co worker karry has left to pursue more traveling and we had a blast sending her off. best of luck karry. Today I was reminded very much of my awesome grandmother/./ (JOY) I was visiting with a lady selling beautiful handmade clothing and see said something about a granny .. I said .. I have the worlds greatest and told her my grandma's Name. JOY /./. she loved that.. I love you Grandma JOY... thinking about you often... BIG KISS... I did it again .. I went out on the town with the party bus, a double decker bus with an open top full of a rugby and football team as well as a ton of hot looking ladies. pretty much a complete party on wheels. Anyway .. it was the famous Ultimate Party Pub Crawl. go to five bars get in for free experiance rugby, drinking, coustumes and dancing competitions. Well this is where I won abother excursion to the dome casino here in Cairns, for wildlife viewing and relaxing, So I am going on the 26th of september.. I fell like free is a good value and since its free i will for sure go.. other than that.. just working 6 days qa week, loving it.. and loving the magnum ice cream bars from the shop.. today the weather was a bit cludy overcast, many many people stayed away from the man man lagoon and did other things.. usually the grassy field butressing up to the lagoon are completly pack with tan go'ers and soccer players. till later,.,. TOTALLY FANTASTIC, THE TULLY RIVER WAS GREAT, ONLY 16 OR SO KILOMETERS BUT WHAT A SCENIC WICKED SPOT. THE VEGETATION IS RAIN FOREST TYPE WITH BIG LEAVE AND DENSE COVER, THE WATER WAS CLEAR AND CRISP.. THE RIVER FLOW IS DIRECTLY FROM THE HYDROLOGIC DAM FLOWS THAT KEEP THE RIVER AT CONSTANT RAFTING LEVELS. YESTERDAY THE WATER WAS SUPERB TONS OF WHITE WATER LITERALLY CUBIC TONS. I SAW AN EEL, AND LOTS OF LITTLE FISH AND SOME ALRIGHT SIZED PERCH MAYBE .5 KG BUT PRETTY, LOTS OF ULYSSES BUTTERFLIES AND HERONS AND TROPICAL BIRDS LIKE LAURAKEETS. LOVELY SPECIES.

cheers mates. and happy times.. no workin for me tomorrow going out to the tully river for some fun in the sun and swimming and rafting .. sounds great.. the weather has gotten hotter since i have arrived here in Cairns 20 days ago.. Nearly one month and I am still here, I fly to New Zealand on the 30th of November to have a great christmas and New year in the south island.. But until then.. I am hanging around this alright place in Cairns.. I am ready for a new change of scenery but I found a cute job and like it so I am sticking around here for a little more.. feeling great. Hi there grand world. I am great but tired and blisters on the feet. oh well that is what i get for not having an actual job for over 2 years.. My feet haven't been in proper shoes for a very long time.. so that is that woes, of my time now.. pretty minimal eh'. I am really enjoying my co-workers, Karry from Scotland and Tony from Edinburgh, how do you spell that.. oh well.. and me.. the one with no accent even though people say i have the strongest accent.. bazaar.. Life is good. I will stay up here get a few things accomplished for the diving fun that I sought out for.. I found a free training but it is a 45 day on boat experience.. with 70$ per day credit towards diving instructor includes dive master.. i am looking into it.. Here is how it all went down. I was staying at the asylum but now I am staying at Calypso, better nicer cleaner, with fun and of course more money we are certainly not SE Asia anymore. damn it. the days of the 5 dollar guest house are far behind but potentially in the future. So daily I walk maybe 10-15 kilometers and well it is not very hot here yet and so it is enjoyable.. but soon the weather will be changing and the heat wave will hit and then.. what a bugger. til then.. times are grand. I didn't really get on to well with Cairns when I first arrived but now times are changing. I have a cute little coffee shop that sells sweets and towels and maps and ice cream, blah blah _ well I have bought my coffees in there for this past 10 days and today when I walked in and bought my coffee, I saw the sign i was waiting for... HELP wanted. perfect for me.. cute small .. busy .. beautiful people in bathing suits coming in, walking by, sunbathing and swimming right there. full on .. Locati...
